Ministries

community life

St John the Evangelist Parish Ministries are organized in four branches:

Worship (Mass & Sacraments)
Ministries that support our liturgy.
The most important occasion we are gathered each week is at the celebration of Sunday Mass. We strive to provide a welcoming and uplifting experience for parishioners and visitors alike, inviting all to hear God’s Word proclaimed and preached, to join in prayer and song, and to partake of the Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

Word (Teaching, faith formation, studies)
Ministries that involve studying and proclaiming he Word of God.

Community (Inner life of Parish)
Ministries that build a sense of belonging and take care of our parish members.
As members of the living Body of Christ, we nurture our bonds by participating in activities that celebrate our life together.

Outreach (Reaching further outward to the larger community)
Ministries that reach beyond our parish to share God’s love with those in need.
By Baptism, we are commissioned to assist our neighbor in need. St. John the Evangelist Church partners with local agencies and churches to address various challenges in our community. At times we have parishioners who act as liaisons, but you may contact the agency or church directly if you are able to assist in their mission.
