Founded in 1903 by the Knights of Columbus, they have flourished under their motto of Unity and Charity. Their dedication to Church and country has evolved through the years to encompass local, state, national, and global concerns. They are one of the largest organizations of Catholic women in the world. They invite women from any parish to join them. Knights of Columbus

“But if we live our lives in the light, as He is in the light, we are in union with one another.”
(1 John 1:7)

The Knights of Columbus order, Council 10760, has four distinguishing characteristics – Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism – and is a very lively and active organization at St. John.

It serves the parish in many ways both financially and spiritually – making financial donations to other Ministries, for example Christian Formation and the Youth Ministry; providing the new Baptismal Font;  presenting a framed portrait of the Holy Family to the newly baptized, a rosary to First Communion celebrants  and a crucifix to those being confirmed; involvement with the Boy Scout Troop; saying the Rosary before Mass;  sponsoring periodic Blood Drives. The Knights raise funds through an annual yards sales and pancake breakfasts, taking the pulse of the parish in the process by engaging with parishioners.
